At 360 to 490 million years old, the mountain is great for climbing and is home to Peregrine Falcons that perch on its rocky outcrops. Bring $3 for parking. • Visit Whitewater Falls, believed to be the highest waterfall east of the Mississippi. Bring $3 for parking. • Sitting 3,500-feet above sea level with 26 miles of shoreline, Lake Glenville is one of the highest lakes east of the Mississippi River.
