• Panthertown Valley is often referred to as the Yosemite of the East. • See Shadow of the Bear in Cashiers — visible for approximately six weeks — mid-October through early November and mid-February through early March. Insider tip — visit in February during our secret season! Begins around 5:30 p.m. on clear days and lasts half an hour.
